The Mission
The UCM program works among the un-reached communities of Nigeria, Ghana, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Uganda, Rwanda, Sudan, Kenya, Burundi and the Philippines, just to name a few, by helping them to develop sustainable infrastructure, schools, drinking wells, and medical facilities. Its mission is to reach the un-reached and enable communities implement sustainable community development projects. This program can be described in one word – humanitarian.
Accommodations
You’ll live like a local at a guest house. Our carefully screened hosts are middle-class, and accommodations include a private room, shared bath and three homemade meals per day.
Cost
Program fees are based on the location and duration of your trilocal salaries, host family payments, and local purchases. Program fees include: full room and board, domestic transportation, 24 hour safety and medical services, local culture and language classes, and funding of development projects and internships. The program fee also includes multiple cultural and adventure activities.
