United Christian Mission (UCM) is 501c3 organization headquartered in NYC, which helps impoverished communities which have experienced terrible strife due lack of resources and education, and non-existent infrastructure among other things. In these poor communities, violence is rampart and hunger is the daily norm. The severity of these recurring acts of violence have escalated to the point where local ministries are suffering tremendously.
UCM aims at serving the NYC community by providing free food and clothing to those in need, as well as providing assistance to those who want to sign up for city programs such as SNAP, Section 8, and HEAP amongst many other programs that the city offers.
UCM also conducts international missionary programs among the un-reached communities of Nigeria, Ghana, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Uganda, Rwanda, Sudan, Kenya, Burundi and the Philippines, just to name a few, by helping them to develop sustainable infrastructure, schools, drinking wells, and medical facilities. Its mission is to reach the un-reached and enable communities implement sustainable community development projects. This program can be described in one word – humanitarian. Many lives have been saved and countless more continue to be as feeding programs reach some of the most undernourished communities, victims of war and famine, and poverty stricken families and communities.
